Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of October 2,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Contractor shall fill all cracks, sealcoat and mark the lot at 9238 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL. The parking lot is approximately 21,000 SQFT. Contractor to field verify before submitting their bid. Contractor sweep clean & power blow surface to remove all dirt, debris and loose material from proposed parking lot area. Power truck mounted vacuum equipment will be used to remove all possible dirt when possible. Clean all edges and remove all weeds from lot. Apply weed killer where needed. Preparation of the above-mentioned job will be done in a thorough, professional manner. Application of Seal aster Ultra High Performance Coal Tar Emulsion or Seal aster Asphalt Based Master Seal Material, to be applied in One (1) coat with approximate coverage rates between 1.5 to 2.5 gallons per 75 square feet Sealant material. Latex modifier additive will be added to Coal Tar Sealant which reduces dry time. Will help to eliminate markings and tracking of the sealcoat material, and will increases the Coal Tars durability and will improve overall aesthetics with a darker, richer black color. A sand aggregate will be added into the sealcoat mixture to improve traction and durability. (50 lbs per 100 Gals of Sealer) PERFORMANCE BOND Not applicable.
