2026 for the Construction of the 40th Street Project The Work to Be Performed Under This Contract Includes Furnishing the Necessary Labor, Materials, Equipment, Tools and Guarantees Thereof To: Construct Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk, Landscaped Buffer, Bike Lane, Street Lighting, Flashing Pedestrian Crossing Beacons, Contrasting Pavement Marking, and Pedestrian/Bicycle Amenities. Pedestrian Accessibility Ramps and Landings Will Be Constructed at All Intersections to Conform to the Current Wsdot Design Standards on 40th Street West From Drexler Drive to 67th Avenue West. Fsbe Goal Has Been Established for This Contract at 12% and Is Not a Condition of Award. All Bid Proposals Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Proposal Deposit by Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Surety Bond in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of Such Bid Proposal. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into Such Contract and Furnish Satisfactory Performance Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to the City of University Place. The City of University Place Expressly Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Minor Irregularities or Informalities and to Further Make Award of the Project to the Lowest Responsive Responsible Bidder as It Best Serves the Interest of the City.
