Town of Barnstable Request for Qualifications FY25 On Call Engineering Design Services The Procurement Office, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, Engineering Division of the Town of Barnstable hereby requests the submittal of quotes and qualifications from qualified, licensed engineering design consultants to provide professional design services to be utilized on an "On Call" basis for a one-year term with two one-year options. The option for the two additional years will be at the sole discretion of the Town. The town is anticipating awarding up to six on call contracts for these services. The contract value commences at zero dollars and an amendment to the contract shall be issued for each project successfully proposed, negotiated, and awarded by the Town to the On Call Professional Engineering Services Consultant including the value of the project award, scope of services and schedule for that project. However, the Town does not guarantee that each respondent(s) will receive an assignment during the course of the contract. The contract and its award process resulting from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) are not subject to the Uniform Procurement Act pursuant to the M.G.L. c. 30B or the Designer Selection Law, Chapter 7C. Issuance of this RFQ does not signify the Town's submission of this service to the provisions of the Act, and the contract and award will be made at the Town's discretion. The opening of responses is not public. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Questions are due by Noon on 8/5/24. Responses are due by Noon on 8/12/24 online only to the Procurement Portal. If necessary to revise any part of the RFQ or provide additional information, an addendum will be issued and posted to the same portal.
