As of August 6, 2024, the construction manager received notification over the weekend that the design team released additional documents related to addendum #2 and RFI responses. See attached. They've attached a site plan showing how the owner would like the pricing broken down. Please submit any revisions to your proposals no later than the end of the day tomorrow, Tuesday the 6th. Scorpio has been awarded the Daytona State College Amphitheater Improvements project located in Palm Coast, FL, and is receiving final bids. The project includes site development with asphalt and concrete pavement, the creation of a berm for seating, the construction of two new canopies, and an alternate for a pre-fabricated restroom. The project includes the following trades: SITE - Selective Demolition, Sitework, Fencing, Landscaping, Retaining Walls STRUCTURE - Cast-in-Place Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel, Decorative Railings SYSTEMS - Plumbing, Electrical, Audio/Visual SKIN - Joint Sealants, Roofing, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Glass & Glazing, Drywall & Metal Stud Framing SURFACES - Acoustical Ceilings, Painting SPECIALTIES - Bathroom Accessories, Theatrical Rigging, Lifts Construction is anticipated to start latte third quarter of 2024 and take approximately 8 months. Pricing must be held for 90 days. the Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Project consists of exterior renovation to the existing amphitheater canopy, along with the addition of a new canopy over additional spectator seating and rear stage. Improvements to the lawn seating area, which will include modular retaining walls, egress paths, landscaping and raised lawn area. Near the stage area of this facility will be a new restroom facility consisting of two individual restrooms. South of this existing facility is a new plaza area, access road to the stage and access road from the main campus parking to the parking of this facility. This work includes, but not limited to, new canopy structure and roofing assembly, exterior window and doors at restrooms, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, AV/IT as well as building perimeter Civil work and site lighting.
