Reference Number 0000358359 Conor Park and Playground Improvements, McLean Ave, and Central Park Ave Question Deadline 08/05/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions regarding the contents of this bid must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Contact ALLISON.CORREIA@YONKERSNY.GOV General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required - Onsite Maintenance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % The work shall be as shown and called for in the Contract Documents and shall include, but not be limited to, the following general items of work: 1) Remove and dispose of existing playground equipment & fibar mulch, edging, benches, and asphalt pavement. 2) Install new playground equipment. 3) Install new rubber safety surfacing. 4) Install new asphalt pavement. 5) Install new benches. 6) Install new landscaping. 7) Install new storm drainage and piping. 8) Replace existing timber retaining wall. 9) Replace all pavement at basketball - add alternate. 10) Color coat basketball court - add alternate. 11) Install new post & hoop at basketball court - add alternate. The Contractor will be required to mobilize to a location within thirty (30) working days of notification by the City of Yonkers. The Contractor must confirm with the City of Yonkers Engineering Department a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours prior to commencing work at each location in regards to this contract. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to contact and obtain all Code 753 mark-outs for existing utility locations prior to commencing work at all locations. The Contractor is responsible to pursue any damages or delays caused by privately/publicly owned utilities with respective private/public utility companies. The City of Yonkers will NOT become involved with any negotiations between the Contractors and privately/publicly owned utility companies for damages or delays incurred while completing the unit bid items under this contract nor will the City of Yonkers compensate the Contractor for these damages or delays.
