Repairs to the Hazle Street Retaining Wall Which is Generally Comprised of Removing and Repairing Existing Wall Sections, Installing New Concrete Cap and Railing and Other Miscellaneous Work Including All Incidental Work Related Thereto. The Project Will Be Bid as One Prime General Contract. Bid Security, in an Amount Equal to Ten (10%) of the Total Bid, Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for a Satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. In Accordance With Executive Orders 11625 and 12138, the Successful Bidder Must Utilize, to the Greatest Extent Feasible, Minority and/or Women-owned Business Concerns Which Are Located Within the Municipality, County, or General Trade Area. In Addition to Equal Employment Requirements of Executive Order 11246, as Amended, the Contractor Must Also Comply With 2 Cfr 200.231 With Regard to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in His Aggregate on-site Construction Work Force, Materials and Equipment. City of Wilkes-barre Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or Portions Thereof, and to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. The Selection of the Successful Bidder Shall Be Made in the Best Interest of City of Wilkes-barre, as They Solely Determine, and Bidders Acknowledge This by Submitting a Bid. Bids May Be Held by City of Wilkes-barre for a Period Not to Exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of the Opening of Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids, Before Awarding the Contract.
