San diego unified school district, acting by and through its governing board, will Electronically receive bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for: Cc25-0212-52-00-00 installation of relocatable buildings and Playground equipment at 2 sites The Foster ES & Green ES UTK Classroom Complex to shall include the installation of three (3) relocatable classroom buildings, a playground, seating area and shade structure, including interior upgrades and DSA review and approval for the installation Locations:- Foster Elementary School, 6550 51st St, San Diego, CA 92120. Green Elementary School, 7030 Wandermere Dr, San Diego, CA 92119. The project estimate is between $6,845,000 and $7,115,000, inclusive of allowances. PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Prime contractors or any subcontractor performing the license classifications of A, B [if performing the work of] C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 wishing to submit a bid to a bidding prime contractor must be prequalified in order to bid. Contractors must be a registered SDUSD online vendor to complete the prequalification process. Go to online and login as a vendor, then click the menu on the left, and select prequalification to get started. This is a PSA project and requires prequalification. The District requires that Bidders possess any of the following classification(s) of California State Contractors License(s), valid and in good standing, at the time of bid opening and contract award: B, or other appropriate license, subject to District approval. Each bid shall be in accordance with all terms, conditions, plans, specifications, drawings, and any other documents that comprise the bid package and shall be submitted on the bid forms provided in online. Under Public Contract Code section 20111(b)(1), bids shall be accompanied by a satisfactory bid security in the form of either a bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company or a certified or cashier's check in favor of the San Diego Unified School District, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid value. Completed applications must be submitted to the District no later than August 5, 2024, which is 10 business days before the bid opening due date. Any applications submitted later than this deadline will not be processed for this bid. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code 1771.1(a)]. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Prime contractors must add the DIR Registration Number for each of their listed subcontractors to the Subcontractors List. Prevailing wage requirements apply to all public works projects and must be followed per Article 17 of the General Conditions of this bid. The applicable wage determination for this contract is 2024-1 and will be 2024-1 for the duration of the contract. This includes amendments, change orders, and warranty work relating to this contract number. Bids may not be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the electronic opening of bids. During this time, bidders shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective bid submissions. A successful bidder shall not be relieved of the bid submitted without the District's consent or bidder's recourse to Public Contract Code 5100 et seq.
