Reference number: 20009422 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-08-06 The City of Gracefield plans to carry out infrastructure work on the entire Rue Locas. A new community housing project requires municipal work to provide drinking water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer services in an already built-up area with outdated infrastructure. Work on the drinking water network mainly involves looping the drinking water distribution network and replacing a carlon drinking water pipe. The work on the drinking water distribution network is approximately 215 metres long. The sewer rehabilitation work involves extending municipal services along rue Locas, between rue principale and rue Saint-Joseph. This work will bring the sanitary sewer and storm sewer back into the Rue Locas right-of-way, replace the existing drinking water distribution pipe and completely resurface the roadway. Installation of sanitary sewer pipes is also planned on a 17-metre stretch of rue Principale. Pavement rehabilitation, including paving, is planned in areas where excavations will take place, notably on rue Principale and on the entire length of rue Locas between rue Principale and rue Saint-Joseph.
