Reference number: 20053229 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2025-03-18 Expected contract duration without options (in months): 18 Ecocentre North has been in operation since 2011. Citizens, industries, businesses and institutions (ICI) can access a wide range of materials, including CRD materials as defined in Article 1.1.7. These materials are stored on a concrete plate that is sealed upon receipt before being transferred to a 53-foot trailer for transport to the yard. Materials are weighed and billed to the customer on a tonnage basis, according to the applicable tariff schedule. Ecocentre operators ensure compliance of materials before they are unloaded by customers. Materials delivered by customers that belong to different categories of materials can be sorted at source by the customer himself, upon operator's indication The Service de l'environnement is responsible for the implementation of the MRC's jurisdiction under this call for tenders in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the law, regulations and specifications. The CRD scrap targeted by this call for tenders is always mixed (jumbled) and includes variable portions of natural wood, treated wood, vinyl, gypsum, vapor barrier and other membranes, thermal and sound insulation, frames and doors, assemblies, Concrete, brick, asphalt, ceramic and other materials from construction, renovation and demolition activities. Materials are delivered in different proportions by customers, the RCN will not be able to guarantee a minimum proportion of recyclable or recoverable materials among the random DRCs transported to the sorting center. It is the responsibility of the contractor to establish the price submitted accordingly. Table 1 below identifies the quantity of CRD debris generated on the territory of the Gatineau Valley RCM and having passed through the North Eco centre since 2021, as well as the forecast mass for the 18 months covered by this call for tenders, from May 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026.
