Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Jamestown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of August 30, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following a. Cinder running track refurbishment. b. Removal of existing heating supply and return piping to existing radiant floor system. Installation of new heat supply and return piping. c. Installation of new (pre purchased) ceiling mounted unit ventilators. d. Installation of new (pre purchased) cabinet unit heaters. e. Installation of new (pre purchased) Roof Exhaust Fans and Gravity Relief Vents. f. Removal of existing ventilation system. g. All repair of ceilings and finishes to execute the work. h. All power and systems required for new work. i. All building controls associated with new work. B. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a multiple prime contract. Refer to Section 01 12 00 - Multiple Contract Summary Replacement of classroom radiant floor heat with UV heating Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Bid, Duly Executed by the Bidder as Principal, and Having as Surety Thereon a Surety Company Approved by the Owner. Performance Bond and Payment Bond Equal to 100% of the Contract Sum Are Required to Be Delivered at Time Contract is Signed With Owner The Jamestown City School District Reserves the Right to Waive Any Inconsistencies and to Reject Any or All Bids.
