Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Airway Heights, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preliminary engineering for the traditional mill and overlay on a portion of S. Hayford Road. This project is federally funded and will be held to Federal EEO requirements. The major features of this project are as follows. Mill & Overlay, including: utility adjustments, detection loops, and curbing. The project initiates at the southern curb return of the intersection with US-2, and extending 5,300-feet to the municipal boundary with Spokane County, just south of the West McFarlane Road intersection. Airway Heights encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-owned consultant firms to respond. The City of Airway Heights reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (CN, etc.) associated with this project.
