Reflooring the main lobby area (tile area, carpet behind the counter and in 3 of 4 of the existing offices) Addition of a privacy wall behind the main counter Associated lighting, electrical, and mechanical work The Town of Gypsum (Town) is seeking proposals to provide general contracting and construction services for renovation of the main lobby of the Town of Gypsum Tall Hall. The scope of the renovation includes: o Completion of building, electric and mechanical permits o Construction of 2 new office spaces including finishes. o Reflooring the main lobby area (tile area, carpet behind the counter and in 3 of 4 of the existing offices) o Addition of a privacy wall behind the main counter o Associated lighting, electrical, and mechanical work Background The Town has determined the need to revise the layout of the main lobby of the town hall to meet the new and growing needs of both staff and the public. The current project includes renovation of the main lobby portion of town hall. A layout and renderings of the improvements is attached to the RFP. The Town Hall will need to remain open during the project. The work shall progress in such a way as to minimize impacts on staff and the public while under construction. This includes but is not limited to measures taken to limit dust, noise, debris, and fumes. The project is located at 50 Lundgren Blvd, Gypsum, CO 81637 in the main lobby.
