The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Recreation Area Ditching, Culvert Replacement, and Placement of Material, Otter Brook Lake, Keene, NH and Surry Mountain Lake, Surry, NH. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnishing all equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary for recreation area ditching, culvert replacement, and placement of material in accordance with the Statement of Work. This is a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date are included in this solicitation. Clean approximately three thousand five hundred feet (3,500') of roadside ditch at Otter Brook Lake Recreation Area and approximately six hundred feet (600') of roadside ditch at Surry Mountain Lake Beach Area. New topsoil added to exposed areas, seed and rip rap stone shall be used to stabilize ditches and around culverts. b. Place gravel material in parking lot areas that total approximately nineteen thousand four hundred (19,400) square feet. c. Grade and add gravel material to the entire length of Otter Brook Lake Recreation Area Gravel Road which is approximately one thousand two hundred feet (1,200') long. d. Remove one (1) existing culvert and install one (1) new ten-inch (10") diameter by twenty-four (24') foot long culvert. e. The Government may execute one (1) option item of grading and adding gravel material to the gravel portion of Otter Brook Lake Recreation Area Access Road which is approximately two thousand seven hundred feet (2,700') long. f.
