Site work and renovation of a civil project in Altoona, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
The Work of Providing Valves, Hydrants, Scada and Generator Dwsrf Project No. Fs010526-01 - Contract No. 3 Will Be Let Under One Contract. The Principal Items of Work Are Detailed Herein Below. Principal Work: 1. Replace Valves and Hydrants as Specified, 2. Install Generator at Well House, 3. Upgrade Scada. The Contractor is Hereby Advised That Time is of the Essence on This Project and That the Contract Time of 200 Consecutive Calendar Days Total and Noted Restrictions Shall Be Strictly Observed. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if Contract Time is Exceeded. The Contractor May Apply for an Extension of Time in Accordance With the Provisions of the Contract; However, Such an Extension Must Be Approved Prior to the Contract Completion Date to Avoid the Imposition of Liquidated Damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
