Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Beverly, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; clubhouse / community center; golf course; and golf course.

This project is comprised of tree and vegetation removal, fairway renovation, shifting of cart path, drainage improvements, development of floodplain compensation areas, renovation of adjacent rough and all associated sodding, seeding and vegetation planting on the existing 18-hole golf course. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. BIDDING DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE : In the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 24, 191 Cabot St., Beverly City Hall, Beverly, MA 01915 during regular City Hall business hours SITE INSPECTION. Arrangements for visiting the site may be made by contacting Mr. Steve Murphy of Golf Facilities Management, Inc. (the course operator) at (781) 710-5532. SCOPE OF WORK A. The work of this section shall consist of collecting samples for testing, having tests performed by a Certified Testing Laboratory satisfactory to the Architect, having all test results forwarded to the Architect and Owner for approval, and paying all costs associated with the collection, sampling, testing and distribution of test results and approvals. DESCRIPTION A. B. C. D. E. Golf course renovation work shall generally include, but not be limited to, the following: BEVERLY GOLF & TENNIS CLUB - Beverly, MA BASE BID PROJECTS: 1. Tree and vegetation removal and disposal off site. 2. Raising of a portion of the 18th fairway. 3. Installation of drainage improvements in Hole 18 fairway. 4. Shifting of cart path adjacent to Hole 18 fairway. 5. Construction of compensatory storage areas. 6. Soil preparation with seeding, sodding and vegetation planting. 6. Other incidental work. Provide all facilities, labor, tools, equipment, appliances, transportation, supervision, and related work necessary to complete the work specified in this section, and as shown on the Drawings. Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating delivery of materials and transportation within the site. All work performed under this section of the specifications shall be subject to the General Conditions and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract. The work of this section includes, but is not limited to tree removal, vegetation management, the construction of new fairway, installation of drainage, removal of existing path and installation of new asphalt path, and all seeding or sodding of disturbed areas. OWNER shall supply the following materials: IRRIGATION PARTS. All other materials required for completion of the work shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR.
