Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the installation of watermain along CTH KR (from Wisconn Valley Way to CTH H. Major work items include silt fence, PVC watermain & appurtenances, horizontal directional drilling, asphalt patching, concrete ramp patching, and restoration. ids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer.
