Renovation of a fire / police facility in Temple Terrace, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of Temple Terrace (City) requires a contractor led team to construct, document and certify the Wind Retrofit (Project) at Fire Station #1 and Fire Station #2, located at 124 Bullard Parkway and 7772 E. Telecom Parkway, in accordance with 287.055, Florida Statutes. When complete, the building envelopes will withstand wind speeds in accordance with local code requirements and standards. The Project is funded through the Division of Emergency Management Mitigation Program. A copy of which grant agreement is included in the DCP. The selected contractor must comply with all the associated grant requirements and deadlines. Following Contractor selection, the City expects to negotiate an agreement providing for the Contractor to evaluate existing conditions and to identify and design improvements for wind protection. Following approval of the proposed Contractor design, the City expects to negotiate an agreement providing for the Contractor to complete all proposed building improvements. The City is prepared to use up to ten (10) percent of the funds available from the grant agreement for the work of evaluating existing conditions, and to identify and design required improvements. The balance of funds available from the grant agreement would be used for the work of obtaining building permit(s) and installing and constructing required improvements and to complete all related project work.
