Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Full roof replacement of Dexter Elementary School in accordance with the MSCS Design Planning Principles and Construction Guidelines-latest edition. Full roof replacement includes removal of all existing roof components to the metal deck. Install new R-30 minimum insulation with proper slope to drainage points. Install new single-ply roof membrane for 20-year warranty. Install new metal edges and flashings. Install new through-wall flashings where needed. Raise any mechanical and piping to new roof heights. New installation includes but is not limited to flashing, blocking, counter flashing, coping, drip edges, gutter, downspouts, walk pads, expansion joints, roof hatch/ ladders, crickets, etc. Question Deadline 08/07/2024 at 10:00 AM CT Questions or requests for clarification of technical issues and terms pertaining to this Bid must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Vanessa Ketcher at ketchervm@scsk12.org. . Questions that are deemed to be substantive in nature will be responded to in the form of an addendum and posted on SCBE by EOD CST on August 9, 2024, website electronically. The anticipated terms of this contract shall be up to 39 weeks. The work shall begin after issuance of the "Notice to Proceed. Estimated start time is 12/1/2024. The substantial completion date is 7/30/2025 and a final completion date of 8/30/2025. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 8-9-2024.
