Repair and replacement of existing asphalt shingle roof, including, but not limited to, applying for applicable building permits, including payment of permit fees. Providing submittals for products and fabrications for this scope of work. Providing mock ups of penetration and intersection details as requested. Removing all existing roofing materials including underlayment, related flashing, valley flashing, rake flashing, ridge cap, penetration flashing, and intersections with all other roof areas and other building systems. This will include sufficient removal of other systems as required to provide integrated flashing and intersection details for a weathertight replacement scope. Inspection and repair/replacement of limited damaged roof sheathing (assumed to be 5/8" Plywood over rigid insulation), repair or replace in kind. Replacing water resistant underlayment with GAF Tiger Paw consistent with manufacturers recommendations and standards of roofing industry. Replacing galvanized metal flashing systems consistent with manufacturers recommendations and standards of roofing industry. Reinstall adjacent roof systems and other building systems as necessary for a weathertight replacement scope. Replacing roofing consistent with manufacturers recommendations and standards of roofing industry. Ensure compliance with referenced Miami-Dade County Notice of Acceptance (NOA)s for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code. Include ventilated ridge cap and any ventilation systems as necessary to maintain roofing warranty The Engineer's estimate for construction is $325,000 The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a labor and materials bond and a faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract
