The Authority intends to create an additional "pool" of Contractors to provide maintenance services. The Pool will consist of various qualified Contractors which will be available on an as-needed basis to provide complete maintenance services which may include: general routine handy-man repairs, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, general cabinetry, and painting. The actual number of Pool participants chosen will depend on the number of qualified proposals received. Proposers may submit a response based on any combination or just one of the services. Proposers should limit their proposal to the services for which they are competent. Proposers selected to participate in the Pool will be assigned work at the discretion of the Authority based on quality of work, availability, manpower and timeliness. The Authority will attempt to match each assignment to the Pool Participant best suited for a given task (i.e., When the Authority has a need for minor renovations such as kitchens/bathrooms, a contractor with proven experience in renovations may be selected over a contractor that has more experience with painting and little renovation experience.) Selection as a participant of the Pool is not a guaranty of the type or number of tasks for which a participant may be selected. Contractor(s) shall perform maintenance services which may include, but are not limited to general routine handy-man repairs, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, general cabinetry, and painting.
