The entire project is at West High School, 5710 S176th St, Omaha, NE 68135. The project consists of interior demolition of existing construction and interior renovations of the existing facility. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. The entire project is at West High School, 5710 S176th St, Omaha, NE 68135. The project consists of interior demolition of existing construction and interior renovations of the existing facility. B. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the West High School Temperature Control Replacement project. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation, winter break, other student and staff holidays, and outside of normal school hours. The building will be unoccupied, although select staff may visit the building periodically to conduct work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. General Contractor will start work on the control renovations on September 9, 2024 and will substantially complete the interior renovations construction work on or before January 4, 2026.
