Loranger School Middle Gym HVAC Project Location: 54123 Allman Street, Loranger, LA 70446 1. The work includes the following: Renovation of an existing Middle School Gym Building. The project includes the addition of new HVAC units on 9" thick concrete slabs, new concrete sidewalks with connections to existing sidewalks, new chain link fencing and new angle support frame for HVAC ducts and Air Return ducts along south facing wall. Existing windows on south facing wall will be replaced with new storefront windows. Batt insulation will be added into east and west end walls from top of CMU wall to the roof. 2. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. All Bids Shall Be Accompanied by Bid Security in an Amount of Five Percent (5.0%) of the Sum of the Base Bid and All Alternates. The Form of This Security Shall Be as Stated in the Instructions to Bidders Included in the Bid Documents for This Project. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Furnish a Performance and Payment Bond Written as Described in the Instructions to Bidders Included in the Bid Documents for This Project. Bids Shall Be Accepted From Contractors Who Are Licensed Under La. R.s. 37:2150-2192 for the Classification of Municipal and Public Works Construction. Bidder is Required to Comply With Provisions and Requirements of La R.s. 38:2212(B)(5). No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After Receipt of Bids, Except Under the Provisions of La. R.s. 38:2214.
