This project is located Citywide, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. This is an annual contract and work will be performed on a task order basis for the provision of Stormwater Pump Station Maintenance Services for the Citys Public Works Department. The intent of these services is to maintain efficient, safe 24-hour operation of stormwater pump stations so that the City can provide a healthy, environmentally safe service to our residents. The successful bidder will provide all labor, tools, materials, and traffic control required to perform this work. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to regularly scheduled monitoring, preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments. Additionally, force maintenance operations and repair services will be performed on an as required basis inclusive of response after hours for emergency conditions. Licensing Requirements: Possession of a General Contractors License issued by the State of Florida or any other State or County License(s), Certification(s) or Registration(s) deemed legally permissible by the City to conduct the nature of the work required. Submission of a proposal will be considered evidence that the proposer has familiarized himself with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required. Bid Security: A certified check, cashiers check, bank officers check or bid bond of 5 percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shall accompany each offer.
