the Project Consists of Furnishing All Materials, Labor, and Equipment Necessary to Upgrade. Sewage Pump Station No. 0174 to Be in Compliance With the United States Environmental Protection Agency (Usepa) Consent Decree Criteria, and to Obtain the Necessary Permits From Miami-dade Rer and All Other Regulatory Authorities in Order to Proceed With the Execution of the Project. The scope of work consists of converting the existing dry/wet well configuration into a submersible pump station configuration which includes but is not limited to the removal of the two (2) Yeoman pumps, model 4315, with 14-inch impeller, 25-HP motors rotating at 1,175 rpm. Also, the project shall include the removal of the top slab, hatches, metal ladder, electrical infrastructure, all piping, valves, and bends including all equipment and appurtenances deemed necessary to be removed inside the current dry/wet well, demolishing the existing asphalt driveway (+/- 226 SF) and the existing 6-ft perimeter chain link fence. Contractor to seal all existing holes left by the removal of pipes, equipment, and shall coat existing walls. Grout shall comply with specification 5.03.2 concrete, mortar, and grout. Existing Dry-Well to be refurbished, repaired, modified, coated to be converted into the new Wet-Well to house two (2) new submersible pumps; the existing Wet-Well to be refurbished, repaired, modified, and coated to be converted into the new receiving manhole. It is the intent of the Department to obtain a complete functional and satisfactory installation under this Contract, and any items of labor, equipment or materials that may reasonably be assumed as necessary to accomplish this end shall be supplied whether or not they are specifically shown on the Plans or stated herein.
