Drums Elementary / Middle School Parking Lot and Access Improvements (Bid) Questions regarding the bid specifications should be directed via email to Robert J. Krizansky (krizanskyr@hasd k12.org). All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope, which shall be plainly identified as a bid and/or RFP. Where indicated, bids / RFPs shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount specified within the specifications of the proposal to be drawn in favor of the Hazleton Area School District. Emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted. The Hazleton Area School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids / RFPs received and the right to waive any informalities. This work shall consist ofthe assembling/disassembling and setting up/tearing down for the project, the Contractor's necessary general plant, including field office if necessary, shops, plants, storage areas, sanitary and any other facilities, as required by the specifications and special requirements of the contract, as well as by local or State law and regulation. The determination ofthe adequacy ofthe Contractor's facilities, except as noted above, shall be made by the Contractor. The cost of required insurance and bonds and/or other initial expense required for the start of work will be included in this item. The cost ofphoto documentation before, during and after construction should be included in this item. The production and delivery of as-built drawings is included in this item. The driveway loop in front of the building cannot be closed or impacted as part of this project. Flaggers must be provided any time the existing driveway will be blocked due to deliveries or a construction operation. Contractor to notify school ifthis is required. Any items indicated as incidental on the plans and/or specifications is included in this item
