Description of the Work: The Work is officially known as the West Interceptor Rehab - Segoe Rd to Shorewood Blvd, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to complete the Contract for the project. The project is located in the Village of Shorewood Hills and City of Madison primarily in University Avenue, and Shorewood Boulevard rightof-way. Project work includes the installation of lining of a sanitary sewer interceptor by use of resin-impregnated cured-in-place-pipe liner. The Work includes approximately 4,159 lineal feet of vitrified clay pipe ranging from 18-inch to 12-inch diameter and rehabilitation of 23 sanitary sewer manholes. This includes preconstruction investigation, traffic control, bypass pumping and diversion of sewage flows, cleaning and television inspection of sewer, reconnection of service connections, final television inspection of lined interceptor, cleaning and television inspection of siphons, and all other work required for a successful installation of the improvements detailed in the Contract Documents. Prequalification applications must be completed and submitted via email to District prequalification email (prequalifications@madsewer.org) no later than 3:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price.
