Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Victoria, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a 340,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, 106-unit multi-residential development; and 794-unit multi-residential development.
The proposal is to demolish four existing residential buildings, subdivide a new lot from the property and construct a six-storey affordable rental residential building containing 106 units. A common multi-purpose amenity space of approximately 10,000 sq. ft. is planned for tenants. Redevelopment of the first phase of the PRHC owned, BC Housing managed property known as Evergreen Terrace and located at 2501/2691 Blanshard Street & 2598 Dowler Place, Victoria BC. The total project aims to replace the aging buildings with approximately 900 new units, The redevelopment will include: 9 buildings (5 phases) up to 20 storeys. TIMELINE: Project is pending rezoning and development permit approvals. Design is ongoing. Project will proceed is phases. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined. Timelines may be confirmed in summer, 2026.
