The bidder is responsible for examining and evaluating the existing conditions of the properties. The bidder is also responsible for providing all tools and equipment required for the performance of the work at the bidder's expense. All work performed for the projects shall comply with the Demolition Procedures and Specifications provided in Exhibit 1. Pursuant to this RFP, the "Work" shall include, and the successful bidder shall provide all site clearing, demolition of structures, removal of demolition debris (including basements unless stated otherwise), site filling/grading, and seeding/strawing for the successful completion of each project. The projects shall include the following: Bid Package 10: 1. 205 S. Broadway St, Lynchburg, OH 45142 - Parcel # 11-08-404-010.00 2. 213 S. Broadway St, Lynchburg, OH 45142 - Parcel # 11-08-404-008.00. All work is to be completed and documentation submitted to the HCLRC by December 31, 2024 In addition, please note that all Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates and labor standards will comply with the provisions of ORC Sections 4115.03 and 4115.16, inclusive, as applicable, with respect to the payment of all mechanics and laborers employed in construction work financed with grant funds. The selected contractor (the "Contractor") will provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to demolish the structure(s). The Contractor will be solely responsible for the removal of all waste materials, debris, and rubbish, and legally disposing of them away from the site. All work to be completed and documentation submitted by year end. Bid Bond: There is no bond requirement for this bid. Insurance: The Contractor shall purchase and maintain such insurance as will protect from claims set forth in the Contract whether such operations are carried out by Contractor of any bid package, subcontractor or anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable. The HCLRC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted, to select one or more responding parties, to void this invitation for bids and the review process and/or terminate negotiations at any time, and to select a final party/parties from among the proposals received in response to this invitation for bids. Additionally, any and all project elements, requirements, and schedules are subject to change and modification. The HCLRC also reserves the unqualified right to modify, suspend, or terminate at its sole discretion any and all aspects of this procurement process, to obtain further information from any and all responding parties, and to waive any defects as to the form or content of the invitation for bids or any responses by any party.
