The bidder is responsible for examining and evaluating the existing conditions of the properties. The bidder is also responsible for providing all tools and equipment required for the performance of the work at the bidder's expense. All work performed for the projects shall comply with the Demolition Procedures and Specifications provided in Exhibit 1. Pursuant to this RFP, the "Work" shall include, and the successful bidder shall provide all site clearing, demolition of structures, removal of demolition debris (including basements unless stated otherwise), site filling/grading, and seeding/strawing for the successful completion of each project. Insurance: The Contractor shall purchase and maintain such insurance as will protect from claims set forth in the Contract whether such operations are carried out by Contractor of any bid package, subcontractor or anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be liable. The HCLRC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted, to select one or more responding parties, to void this invitation for bids and the review process and/or terminate negotiations at any time, and to select a final party/parties from among the proposals received in response to this invitation for bids.
