Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Farwell, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
**As of October 09, 2024, the award amount is $1,098,092.50. The project includes improvements at the Mill Pond Park including removals, site preparation and grading, soil erosion measures, a new ADA compliant kayak launch, ADA fishing platform, two gangways, two small pavilions, one large pavilion, aggregate pathway, concrete sidewalk, aggregate parking, concrete paving, HMA paving, concrete wheel stops, parking pavement markings, ADA parking signage, rain garden, culverts, site lighting, and electrical distribution. Additional elements included in the project include bike loops, a surface mounted bench, surface mounted tables, surface mounted trash and recycling bins, a trailhead sign for the Pere Marquette Trail, tree planting, and all other related work. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Farwell reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Farwell.
