Commercial Chiller/HVAC Installation, Repair, and Maintenance - Continuing Services Agreement. October 2024 Project Duration 3-year continuing contract, with a 2-year optional renewal The Contractor shall make available to the Owner a 24-hour "hotline" telephone number for emergencies, 365 days per year, including District recognized holidays. Contractor will be on-site within two-hours of a call for repair. Overtime will be paid of 1.5 times the utilized labor rate. Emergency rate will be billed when Contractor is called back afterhours, with a 2-hr or less mobilization required. Parts and materials shall be billed at cost, plus a reasonable mark-up percentage. Contractor's service vehicle shall contain all parts, equipment, and materials necessary to perform services. Damage attributed to the Contractor shall be repaired immediately at no cost to the District. Contractor will respond and will be on-site no later than 24 hours after a request for service from the District. Failure to adhere to this response time will be cause for contract default. Services will included at least twenty-six (26) chillers at five different locations throughout the District. A listing of each chiller and location is provided within the RFP document. Typical items of work may include, but are not limited to chiller repairs and maintenance, chiller cleaning, chiller removal, chiller motor installation, and industrial HVAC repairs and maintenance. In addition, this contract shall serve to provide the District with emergency response for minor repairs. As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of an experienced contractor to provide commercial and industrial chiller, heating, ventilation and air conditioning ("HVAC") installation, repair and maintenance services for a three-year continuing contract term. Scope of Services The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after "District", "Owner" and "CFTOD") is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system.
