The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system. The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after "District", "Owner" and "CFTOD") is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system. As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of contractors with expertise in painting and pressure washing services to perform emergency repair and routine maintenance on District-owned buildings and assets on an as-needed basis for a three-year continuing contract term. Typical items of work may include, but are not limited to: o Interior Painting: o Areas: Painting walls, ceilings, doors, windows, trim, lobbies, meeting rooms, hallways, and restrooms o Surfaces: Walls, ceilings, trim, and doors o Preparation: Includes cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed o Exterior Painting: o Areas: Building and assets. o Equipment: transformers, switches, compactors, trucks, etc. o Concrete Structures: tanks and pads o Surfaces: Brick, wood, and metal o Rust reparation services o Preparation: Power washing, scraping, and priming as needed o Commercial Painting: Painting for commercial spaces, including industrial spray painting and epoxy floor coating o Drywall and plaster: Installation, patching, and removal o Coating Specification: For existing in-service natural gas above ground appurtenances, including but not limited to: Meter-regulator sets, above ground piping, valves and fittings, bollards, gate and district stations, pressure reducing stations, spans, etc. o Before priming and after surface preparation. o Sandblasting: Removes paint, rust, debris, scratches, and casting marks from surfaces o Surface preparation: Creates the right texture to ensure paint and other media adhere to the surface o Pressure Washer: to remove dirt, mold, grime, and other substances from surfaces o Commercial surfaces: roofs, gutters, decks, and windows. o Equipment: transformers, switches, compactors, trucks, etc. o Concrete Structures: tanks and pads o Surfaces: Brick, wood, and metal
