Elevator & Escalator Preventative Maintenance and General Service Requests Question Deadline 01/22/2025 at 6:00 PM ET Online Q&A : Yes . The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is requesting services to complete preventative maintenance and general services for District elevator and escalator equipment. A dedicated equipment tech/mechanic will perform the following tasks for the listed equipment. This individual may be described as the "Resident Mechanic". The onsite tech/mechanic is also responsible for equipment start up at all locations M-F and is to be complete by 8:30am. The basis of award will be the lowest bidder of the combined pricing for Line Items 1 through 2. However; the District may choose to award in its best interest. Preventative maintenance: Contractor will maintain the units using trained personnel directly employed by their firm. The maintenance will include inspection, lubrication, and adjustment of parts. Florida Statute 287.05701- Pursuant to Florida Law, the District may not request documentation of or consider a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor, or give preference to a vendor based on the vendor's social, political, or ideological interests.
