The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (herein after "District", "Owner" and "CFTOD") is a Special Taxing District that serves as a local government entity. The District is responsible for its public infrastructure including, but not limited to roads, bridges, and water control system, natural gas pipeline, and any welded steel pipe. As part of maintaining the infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of an experienced contractor to provide non-destructive testing for natural gas pipeline, any testing for connection points for chilled water, hot water, etc., and to perform emergency and routine nondestructive testing on District-owned pipeline on an as-needed basis for a three-year continuing contract term. Contractor must be ASNT-TC-1A Level II certified. o As needed, inspector shall be ASNT-TC-1A Level III. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation, tools, and all other necessities to test, analyze, and report on the welding and piping for The District's utilities. Cost shall be based on the following rates: A. Typical items of non-destructive testing may include, but are not limited to: o Computed Radiography Testing (RT) o Ultrasound Thickness Inspections (UT) o Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) o Magnetic Particle (MT) o Eddy Current Testing (ET) o Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) B. Emergency Response: o Emergency rate will be billed when Contractor is called back afterhours, with a 2-hr or less mobilization required. C. Additional Pricing: Proposer may provide supplementary pricing for additional items not represented above for the Scope of Services contemplated by the RFP.
