As of September 27, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. In general, the project consists of reconstruction of approximately 0.038 miles of Pokegama Trail #2. The project includes removing the existing structure, grading, topsoil, seeding, riprap, temporary structure, and furnishing and installing prefabricated steel truss snowmobile bridge, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work. A single prime bid will be received for the work. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of time as specified in the Wis. Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Contract and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. This project is receiving funding under a WDNR Motorized Trail Aid Grant. Bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and be prequalified with the Wis. Dept. of Transportation for work in the class and amount of their bid, or shall complete the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications bound with the proposal. The Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, if completed, shall be returned with the proposal. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Est.
