The Contractor shall provide all labor, including travel and per diem, materials, permits/licenses, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to perform potable concrete water tank cleaning and inspection, and inspection, cleaning, and repair of four (4) steel fire water tanks on an as needed basis for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center (SQRC), located at 100 Main Street, San Quentin, California 94964. The potable water tank at San Quentin is a three (3) million-gallon concrete tank. It stands sixteen (16) feet tall and is approximately one-hundred ninety (190) feet in diameter. The tank has a solid interior concrete separation wall running through the middle of the tank and separates the tank into two compartments. On the inside of the tank, there are concrete buttresses spaced approximately every twelve (12) feet around the outer wall. The buttresses are fifteen (15) feet tall and extend on a forty-five (45) degree angle into the water tank. There are two (2) access hatches on the roof. One (1) for each compartment of the tank. The tank also has two (2) isolation chambers or wells each of which has a separate access hatch. There is a surface mounted ladder on the outside of the tank providing access to the roof of the tank. The four (4) fire water tanks are steel tanks and consist of a 45,000-gallon, 100,000-gallon, 155,000-gallon, and a 210,000-gallon. Question: The letters of inquiry period ended on July 23, 2024.
