Lime Sludge Hauling and Disposal Services. The City of Ormond Beach Public Works Department is seeking bids to remove, haul, and dispose of expended lime sludge from the storage basins located at the Water Treatment Plant, 298 Tomoka Avenue, Ormond Beach, Florida. The sludge in the basin is a waste product of the lime softening process, averaging <10% solids, and includes the centrifuge byproduct (centrate), the filter backwash clear well (filter waste), and the Claricone blowdowns. Question Deadline 08/16/2024 at 4:00 PM ET The deadline for submitting questions at online. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, material, labor, and other services required for removing, without onsite dewatering, hauling and disposal per the Invitation To Bid. The Work shall be performed on a per unit basis as indicated on the Unit Price Bid Table. Remove, haul, and dispose of expended lime sludge from the storage basins located at the Water Treatment Plant
