**As of September 30, 2024, project was awarded to BGN Contractors, awarded amount is $2,345,404.01.** The Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), on behalf of the City of Panama City Beach seeks bids from qualified Contractors to perform all operations in connection with improvement to Aaron Bessant Park. These improvements include demolition, earthwork, and improvements including (but not limited to) new pavement, ornamental fencing/gates/pilasters, various furnishings, and landscape vegetation, as well as a new open air steel pavilion structure with an adjacent enclosed utility storage structure containing a ticketing sales area and a large storage bay as indicated in the Project Drawings and Specifications. The CVB will not consider the terms of the Contract as being satisfied until Occupancy Permits and Substantial Completion requirements have been satisfied. All work shall occur over a 120 calendar day construction window, with completion expected no later than January 25, 2025. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. Bid Notes : ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Bidders should submit one (1) original bid package. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the work, the name of the bidder, and the date for opening. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received on time. Each bid shall be valid to the CVB for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening.
