The Owner reserves the right to scheduleadditional meetings. The work includes existingbuilding reroofing to be let under one prime contract. A cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to the Owner in an amount not lessthan 5% of the base bid submittedmust accompany each bid as aguarantee that, if awarded thecontract, the bidder will promptlyenter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. If a Bid Bond is provided, the Bondmust be signed by an authorized agent of the Bonding Companyand the agent's power of attorneymust be submitted with the BidBond. Bidders, sub-bidders, material suppliers and other interested parties are encouraged toobtain complete sets of Bid Documents. Complete sets of BidDocuments should always beused in preparing bids. Neitherthe Owner nor Architect assumesresponsibility for errors in bidding or misinterpretations of Bid Documents resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents. The documents obtainedthrough the Architect are considered the official version and take precedence if any discrepanciesoccur. The use of incomplete or inaccurate Bid Documents doesnot relieve the bidder of the obligation to perform all work related to his bid as detailed in a complete set of Bid Documents.
