Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The work under this contract includes rehabilitation of the northbound and southbound 1-355 bridges over the Des Plaines River Valley, retaining wall removal and replacement, noise abatement wall removal and replacement, erosion control, landscaping, pavement marking, drainage repairs, and maintenance of traffic during construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total amount shown in the bid for the contract. The Bid Guaranty shall be in the form of an acceptable bid bond or a bank draft, certified check or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank made payable to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention 4801D.4956_Questions@docs.e-builder.net, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on August 12, 2024. The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about December 16, 2024. All work under this contract shall be completed by November 21, 2025. The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Veterans Memorial Tollway (1-355) between Mile Post 10.2 and Mile Post 17.6 in Will County and Cook County, Illinois. The Illinois Tollway reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or cancel the solicitation.
