Renovation of a library in Mansfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of November 13, bids were rejected. They may revisit the project in a few months. Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Bid; or a Certified Check or Cashier's Check in the Amount of 10% of the Bid Which Will Require a 100% Performance Bond Upon Award of the Contract. All Bids Shall Be Submitted on the Bid Form Contained in the Contract Documents. All Bidders, by Bidding, Agree to Pay the Minimum Prevailing Wage Rates as Determined by the State of Ohio, Department of Industrial Relations for Richland County, Ohio as Contained in the Contract Documents. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within Sixty (60) Days After the Bid Opening. Mansfield Richland County Public Library Reserves the Right to Waive Irregularities in Bids, to Reject Any or All Bids, and to Conduct Such Investigation as Necessary to Determine the Responsibility of a Bidder. The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder (Orc 3375.41). The Project Site is Available for Viewing During Normal Mrcpl Operating Hours. The project site is available for viewing during normal MRCPL operating hours. . Dust- and HVAC-Control Plan: Submit coordination drawing and narrative that indicates the dust- and HVAC-control measures proposed for use, proposed locations, and proposed time frame for their operation. Include the following: 1. Locations of dust-control partitions at each phase of work. 2. HVAC system isolation schematic drawing. 3. Location of proposed air-filtration system discharge. 4. Waste-handling procedures. 5. Other dust-control measures. The Bidder has examined the Project site, become familiar with local conditions and has correlated personal observations about the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Bidder has no outstanding questions regarding the interpretation or clarification of the Contract Documents. The Bidder has included the costs and/or installations of any Owner supplied items per the instructions in the Summary of Work and/or the Contract Documents The bid documents remain the same as the last bid.
