Consultant Services are needed to provide design services for an array of projects pertaining to the Clearfork Reservoir at the direction of the City of Mansfield on an as-needed basis. The selected Consultant will be responsible for working with the City of Mansfield to design and administer projects. The proposed projects shall consist of the following work/tasks: 1. Provide administrative and management compliance assistance to the City relative to rules and regulations of the following offices: State and Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), United States Geological Survey (USGS), and all other related agencies not listed. 2. Prepare drawings, specifications, contract bid documents, cost estimates, grant administration, construction testing and supervision services for Clearfork Reservoir Projects including, but not limited to: Hydraulic dredging, material disposal, erosion control, bathymetric or hydrographic surveying. The City of Mansfield Clearfork Reservoir is situated in the upper Clearfork River Valley, about seven miles southwest of Mansfield near State Route 97. The lake contains 997 surface acres of water and 14 miles of shoreline. The reservoir was designed to be the major source of drinking water for the City of Mansfield and was completed in 1949. Thirty-five square miles of farmland act as a collector of rainwater to keep the supply of water in the reservoir as constant as possible. The lake and surrounding 1000 acres of land is available for use as a public recreation site. It is anticipated the proposed projects will be accomplished over a period of up to five years beginning January 1, 2025.
