Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modifications of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price The bidder shall obtain all permits, licenses, and certificates, or any such approvals of plans or specifications as may be required by federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations for the proper execution and completion of the work specified herein, including hazardous waste removal. Question Response Deadline:October 7, 2024, 2:00pm Construction Schedule: The project schedule is based on a contract award on or before October 22, 2024, with a Substantial Completion date of April 30, 2025, and Final Completion date of May 31, 2025. Each bidder is required to submit with their bid, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, or certified check equal in amount to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish surety bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount as further specified in the Supplemental General Conditions.
