Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes: reconstruct South Fifth Street from Fairgrounds Road to San Juan Drive with new concrete pavement with integral curb, construct new asphalt parking lots, construct new stormwater sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main, furnish and install new street lighting, furnish and install new street signs and pavement marking, and furnish and install new landscaping trees. The bid proposal shall be made on a form of proposal, provided in the specifications and delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside Bid No. 4746 to the Public Works Office on or before the time specified above. No facsimiles will be accepted. The proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check of a bank or trust company in St. Charles County, City of St. Charles, St. Louis County, or in the City of St. Louis for an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid amount. The amount of the check shall be forfeited to the City if the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into a contract or to furnish bond after their proposal has been accepted. The City reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the execution of a contract for a period not exceeding one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening of the bids. The successful bidder to whom the contract has been awarded shall sign the contract and performance bond and other required certificates in triplicate and return the signed documents within seven (7) days after the date of their receipt.
