The purpose of this Invitation to Bid ("ITB" or "Solicitation") is to obtain competitive Bids from qualified Contractors (Bidder) interested in the provision of Willow Creek Center AI Lab & Career Prep Audiovisual Improvements for Portland Community College. This is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.875. The applicable Prevailing Wage Rates are the Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon effective July 5, 2024. The work will take place in Washington County, Oregon. . OSHA approved hard hat . Work pants . Safety glasses . High Visibility shirt or vest . Work boots (no tennis shoes or open toed shoes) Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring that Portland Community College receives its Bid. Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Emerging Small Businesses, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit a response to this Solicitation. BIDDERS MUST FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE ENTIRE SOLICITATION. Twenty percent (20%) of the contract value to be awarded to subcontractors registered with either the State of Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) or the Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises. At least 12% of the subcontract value should be awarded to Minority (MBE) or Disadvantaged (DBE) firms.
