If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 8/29/2024 at 2:00 PM. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Roll-Up Door Repair and Replacement located at the Orange Armory (365 East River Ave., Orange, CA 92666), the San Pedro Armory (891 West 13th St., San Pedro, CA 90731) and the Los Angeles Armory (1300 Federal Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90025). Work to include: The Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing damaged roll-up door components and install a new complete roll-up door system with safety features, ensuring proper function and site cleanup. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Perform Roll Up Door Repair which includes the following: A. Remove and dispose damaged door, old rail guide and old motor B. Furnish and install new complete roll up door system to match existing configuration as much possible, per attached Roll Up Door Specifications, and the following: 1. Furnish and install new insulated roll up door curtain 2. Furnish and install new 3/4 HP door motor operator 3. Furnish and install new guide rails 4. Furnish and install new door opener push open/close/stop button control station 5. Furnish and install new safety devices which includes the following: a) Photo eyes b) Wireless obstruction sensing edge device c) Monitor safety system must be a constantly monitored, anti-entrapment/safety device C. Perform function check of roll up door and safety systems to confirm proper operation D. Clean up area and remove all construction debris from site
