The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for Construction Services for the expansion of an existing maintenance facility located at Kaufman Golf Course, 4807 Clyde Park Avenue, Wyoming, MI 49509. The maintenance facility expansion will accommodate office and shop space, golf course maintenance equipment, Parks equipment and related supplies. Kent County will evaluate responsive submissions for both Option 1, the all-inclusive project costs (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are to be design-build), and Option 2, to include: sitework, foundations, underground plumbing, all concrete flatwork, construction of a weatherproof exterior shell completed to plan including all exterior finishes, doors, and windows. Utility connections to the structure are outside of the scope of both option 1 & 2 and will be bid in a separate package The Solicitation shall be awarded to the responsible bidder(s) whose submission, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the Solicitation, is the lowest price. Once the project is started, work will be continuous until the point of completion. Kent County Parks desires to have all work completed by January 15, 2025. additional pre bid meeting note: A mandatory pre-submission conference is scheduled for this Solicitation. Attendee should arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before the conference scheduled date and time to sign-in. Attendee will not be allowed to sign in after the conference has commenced at mandatory meetings and is disqualified from participating in this Solicitation. The conference provides equal opportunity to seek clarifications and inspect the location (if applicable). Attendee shall have fully reviewed all Solicitation documents and correspondence prior to the conference. Attendee is responsible for taking meeting notes and shall be an employee or authorized reseller of the Respondent with requisite knowledge, skill, and abilities to participate.
