Fuel surcharges may be negotiated between Contractor and State when fuel prices rise 15% or more from the fuel prices in effect on the day the solicitation is opened. The Energy Information Agency Diesel and Gasoline Price Indexes will be used for the contract online Requests for fuel surcharges must be submitted in writing to Sharon Lipsh, Public Works Operations Director, 724 N 47th ST, Grand Forks, ND 58203. Within 30 days, the City of Grand Forks will consider the request and notify the Contractor of the decision in writing. The amount and duration of the surcharge will be based on the submitted evidence and current fuel prices. Bidder will guarantee bid price from the award of bid through April 30, 2025 for rock salt. 1. All bids must be submitted sealed and properly labeled with the Bid Number clearly marked on outside of bid package. 2. If an addendum has been issued for this bid, an acknowledgement of the addendum must be clearly marked on the outside of the bid package next to the Bid Number. 3. A copy of this form signed by an authorized representative of the Vendor and must be included with bid submission. Additional detailed pricing and specifications may also be provided as an attachment to this form. 4. Bids received after the bid closing date and time, improperly labeled bids or those not containing a signed bid form will be rejected. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Grand Forks reserved the right to accept or reject any or all bids or part thereof, to accept one or more items of a bid without obligation as to other items, and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
