Renovation of a library in Montague, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Carnegie Library Basement Rehabilitation The deadline to submit written questions to the Project Manager has been extended to August 28, 2024 at 3PM. The goal of this project is to remove suspect materials including ceiling panels, wall paneling, and insulation and replace them with new, clean finishes to create a habitable workspace. In Phase 1 of the project a new subpanel will be installed on the second floor of the building and temporary office space set up to allow for the relocation of the Library Director and other staff as needed to the second floor for the duration of the renovations. Phase 2 will include the demolition of wall and ceiling finishes in the basement, installation of new finishes, upgraded light fixtures, expanded window wells, and the creation of a separate office for the Library Director. Once the basement is completed the temporary office set up on the second floor will be removed. Electrical and communications improvements on the second floor will remain in place. Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to perform all work required for the project known as Carnegie Library Basement Rehabilitation, in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all related Specifications. The said Documents, Specifications, and any supplemental general conditions are incorporated herein by reference and are made a part of this Agreement.
