Site work for a mixed-use development in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Barney Reservoir Joint Ownership Commission (BRJOC) seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide all equipment, materials and labor required to regrade two existing rock boat ramps (primary and secondary ramps) to uniform grades of approximately 15% and 8%, respectively (approximately 1,010 cubic yards general excavation and 1,010 cubic yards of embankment in place fill). Work to include installation and maintenance of erosion prevention and sediment control measures per plan, regrading and compaction of the existing boat ramps and associated side slopes, placement of excavation spoils adjacent to the existing boat ramps, and resurface the boat ramps with 1.5-inch minus aggregate (+-180 ton) and compacted per project specification. Material excavated from the boat ramps to be placed in designated areas per the plan and graded to match with existing contours. Total ground disturbance for all associated work to remain less than 1 acre as required by regulatory permits. If weather conditions and/or water demand from reservoir prevent regrading of 15% primary ramp due to water level, the primary boat ramp may be graded to 14% (see Alternative #1). On-site work may not begin until October 1, 2024 due to permit requirements.
