A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Scope of Services The Consultant shall provide all professional engineering services necessary to prepare complete bid-ready construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule and engineer's estimate with critical material lead times for construction of a new concrete inlet structure with trash rack, dredging basin, and adjacent shot-rock excavator pad in the work zone. Consultant will also assist the CBJ to establish an Access and Maintenance Easement Agreement between the Property owner and CBJ for the construction and maintenance of the inlet structure/work zone. As CBJ determines other drainage areas in need of improvement, this design project may be amended to address those projects at a future date. The project area consists of approximately 400sqft of private property at 4500 Robbie Rd. in the Mountainside neighborhood Juneau, Alaska. Background Juneau is Alaska's Capital City. The CBJ municipal offices are located at 155 Heritage Way, Juneau, Alaska 99801. The Engineering Department is located on the 3rd Floor of the Marine View Center, 230 South Franklin Street, Juneau, Alaska. The southwest corner of 4500 Robbie Rd contains a landscaped, mud-bottomed dual pipe inlet structure connecting to the adjacent CBJ storm drain system. The existing inlet structure becomes heavily inundated by large and continuous rainfall, requiring dredging to clear mud and debris. The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide design services for the Mountainside Drive Drainage Improvements project.
